Individual Counseling

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or weighed down by life, individual counseling offers a space to unpack what’s happening and begin building a steadier foundation. At your first session we start where you are — whether you’re struggling to cope day-to-day or ready to explore long-standing patterns.

Together, we might address anxiety, depression, low self-worth, unresolved trauma, or challenges with identity. Many of my clients come to understand how early attachment wounds still shape how they relate to others. This work is designed to bring clarity, self-awareness, and practical skills for growth. The goal is not just insight, but a sense of capacity: “I can handle this.”

Couples Counseling

Couples often reach out when they feel like roommates instead of partners. Maybe conflict feels constant. Or maybe it feels like nothing at all — just silence and distance. Either way, you’re longing to feel close again, to feel known and wanted by the person beside you.

When working with clients, I use the Gottman Method and the Sound Relationship House framework to help rebuild emotional connection, improve communication, and restore trust. Whether you’re trying to heal from a rupture, manage daily conflict, or prepare for a strong marriage, couples counseling offers a path back to each other.

Faith-Enriched Counseling

For clients who want to explore the intersection of faith and mental health, this approach offers space to reflect on how spiritual beliefs shape identity, healing, and relationships. This isn’t about applying one-size-fits-all theology. It’s about integrating faith in a way that aligns with your values and supports your growth.

With Christian clients, I may explore spiritual practices, scriptural themes, or prayer as part of the process. With clients from other traditions or no tradition at all, he honors meaning, purpose, and reflection in ways that feel right for the clients. This is always optional, always client-led, and never imposed.

Telehealth Services

Therapy should be accessible. That’s why Living Transformed Counseling offers HIPAA-compliant tele-health sessions for clients located anywhere in Florida. It’s especially helpful for those in rural areas, with busy schedules, or without reliable local resources.

For individual work, tele-health can be highly effective. For couples, in-person sessions are recommended whenever possible, as body language, timing, and shared presence often play a key role in healing relational dynamics. Still, when tele-health is the best option we will make it work.

Fees & Insurance

Counseling is an investment in your emotional, relational, and spiritual health. Living Transformation Counseling aims to make it accessible without compromising quality.

Sessions are 50 minutes and priced at $150 per session. A sliding scale is available based on income, with rates as low as $100 per session. Living Transformed Counseling accepts select insurance plans through Headway, which handles billing and copays. If you're using out-of-network benefits, I would be happy to provide a superbill for reimbursement.

What to Expect

Your first session focuses on your story, your goals, and whether we feel like a good fit. Most clients begin with weekly sessions and adjust frequency as progress unfolds. If we discover that your needs are outside the scope we can provide, we will happily refer you to a professional in our network who is better suited to help.

Confidentiality & Privacy

Conversations between counselors and clients are governed by the ethical standards of my profession and remain private unless I receive written consent from the client. There are only three exceptions.

- Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elderly abuse, for which we are required by law to report to the appropriate authorities immediately.

- A client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, we notify the police and inform the intended victim.

- A client intends to harm themselves, we must take measures without their permission that are provided to the therapist by law to ensure their safety.

Should you ever want that I communicate with someone within your family or even a former therapist, a signed release of information consent will be necessary.
